Commission a Custom Piano Piece
Let me make something that didn't exist before
Some things are difficult to say in words.
A person. A relationship. A place you still think about. A season of your life. A memory, an object, or a feeling that has never fit neatly into language.
My commission work is about translation.
We’ll begin with a complimentary 30–60 minute consultation, where you’ll tell me about what matters to you. I’ll listen for the stories, details, emotions, contradictions, and little things that seem to carry the most weight.
From there, I’ll take what I’ve heard and the way I’ve come to perceive it to translate it into an original 2–3 minute piano composition created entirely for you.
Commissioned pieces are completed within 4–8 weeks of our initial consultation.
After you send this form, I’ll reach out personally to schedule our complimentary 30–60 minute consultation. After our conversation, I’ll begin composing your original piano piece. Most commissions are completed within 4–8 weeks.
